How Congregations Help
A Community of Congregations Opening Their Doors & Their Hearts
Our work is made possible by a remarkable network of faith communities who come together to support families experiencing housing instability. Through hospitality, service, and generosity, congregations live out their faith by creating safe and welcoming spaces where families can rest, regroup, and move toward stable housing.
Congregations partner with FPCC in many meaningful ways, each reflecting their unique capacity and calling:
-
Support Partner – Provide financial support, goods, services, and volunteers to help meet the practical needs of families.
-
Rotational Shelter Partner – Partner with a current Rotational Shelter host congregation to assist with meals, volunteers, and hospitality during hosting weeks.
-
Rotational Shelter Host – Welcome families as guests in your facilities on a rotating basis, providing safe overnight shelter and compassionate care.
Together, these congregations form a compassionate community committed to widening the circle and keeping the promise—saying yes to more families in need. We invite you to join the circle—open your doors, share your gifts, and put faith into action by helping families find stability, dignity, and a place to call home.
